Hello!

So this is basically a blog for myself.  I want to be able to keep track of the next year and a half of my life, where I will be (hopefully) obtaining my degree in Culinary Arts at The Restaurant School in Philadelphia.  This decision was a huge career change for me and I'll admit, I'm a bit nervous to see how it turns out.  Working in public relation firms for the last two years in New York definitely allowed me to get used to a set routine, Monday through Friday, week after week.  Although I don't regret leaving (the monotonous and dull schedule was killing me at the end,) I'm now panicked that this new schedule won't be the right fit for me either.  At this point, I'm just guessing, since classes haven't officially started yet.  But deep down, I know that following my passion for food is the right choice.  No matter what, I do know that I'll be happy working with other food-lovers every day, creating delicious meals and sharing it with friends and family. 

For now, this week has just been orientation, but my official "Intro to Culinary Arts" class begins next Tuesday!  On this blog, I'll be writing tidbits on the classes, recipes that I'm learning, and my thoughts on the entire school process.  Salute!
